This is why I have been soooo slack on my posting, just tired, tired and hot. AC bugs the hell out of my sinus' so a fan and a little spritz bottle are my "personal" form of ac.

On a good note though here is my June 24th weigh in <hamster dance>

I honestly feel like I'll make <240 by July 1st. Of course the weather is being a hellish helper in that I don't feel like eating anything and just drink a lot of water. Sunday Steve was a doll and grilled us a t-bone steak, this is what a <500 calories Sunday dinner looks like...

Now wipe the drool off your keyboard.

On a different note, I have just added two new authors to my Kindle, Mac Wheeler at http://rmacwheeler.blogspot.com/ and JC Simmons http://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/jcsimmons....Mac writes paranormal thrillers and JC Simmons writes the most delicious books that thrill me of Travis McGee flavor. Do yourself a favor and when it's too hot to exercise your body, for gods sake at least exercise your mind. Both of these guys will give you ample reading for your buck.

First book of the Jay Leicester series, there are ten right now. No order really, they read fine in any sequence. If you like John D. MacDonald, JC is right up your ally. I am a big fan of fine wine, flying and sailing. I too read books over and over. Unlike Jay Leicester, I have embraced the electronic age and carry my Kindle or smartphone (with Kindle app) everywhere I go.

This is the first book in the Black Lake series by Mac Wheeler, I hope he forgives me if I leave off the R. I just started these. I am a big fan of Warcraft, it is my "entertainment" besides reading. I think I am going to enjoy these, a lot. I use Orcs, Trolls, Fae, and Elves in my own stories so I love to read others. Being a book of shorties to introduce you to the races and their involvement with each other, it is a perfect, waiting book. You know what I mean, waiting in some line, somewhere bored out of your mind. Put this on your Kindle or phone and escape.

So that's my week, hot enough to fry outside, but it's been dry so not too bad. Weights still dropping and thank you Universe for letting me discover "new" reads. Thanks for visiting and please come on back.
