I did my Sunday weigh-in yesterday. I really wasn't sure if I lost anything till I got on scale. The image speaks for itself. Almost a full three pounds. OMG! I was babysitting this weekend, I didn't eat like I usually do, this was taken right after I ate dinner.
It is really hard, cause the first thing I want to do is weigh myself every damn day. I know exactly how that would go. I get discouraged really easy. For the first month or so I was eating 1800 calories, then I dropped it to 1500 calories. Now I am trying to find a comfortable level somewhere around 1200. I know if I can stay at 1200 and get on the "ugly" bike a few times a week, I will continue to loose weight. My schedule right now is to weigh myself Sunday evening wearing the normal clothes I always wear. So far, so good.
I had pizza Friday night and soft shell tacos Saturday night and I still lost weight. The key is moderation, and leave the "kiddie" snacks alone. I am still drinking around 120 ozs of water a day and staying away from soda and other stuff. I do drink sweet tea, occasionally and lemonade once in a while.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to get them to bring you a "glass of water...NO ice" in a restaurant? Very. Only once or twice has a wait person got it right. Usually they just bring me water with ice, which I do NOT want with my food. The water from the soda dispensers is cold. I guess I'll just start taking my h2o bottle where ever I go. If people don't like, they can kiss by phat arse.
